Industrial Stone & Landscape Maintenance Operative

Ready for a new team for a new year?

Are You An Assertive Industrial Cleaner, Maintenance Operative, General Repair Person , or Facility Managment Operative with Fantastic Attention to Detail Who is Looking For Complete Job Satisfaction?

Perfect, read on . . .

I’m looking for someone who wants to have an input into the business growth...

...essentially, I’m asking for your thoughts and ideas as well as your hard work.

I want someone who has great ideas, who isn’t afraid to make mistakes in order to get things right.

Why?

Well, let me explain this first.

People see adverts for new positions, get excited by it, and never apply. Because they fear rejection.

If you’re reading this and think it’s a bit ambitious for you, hold on, why not take the next step?

Others stay in a job they're unhappy with in case the new job doesn't work out.

Maybe you’re unhappy in your current employment, if you weren’t why read this advert?

Some people read an advert like this and think, "that's perfect" for my wife/husband/partner (because they feel they’re undervalued by their current employer).

They never apply for them, which probably means they undervalue them too?

Hopefully that's not you.

Because, I want you to;

  • Assist me cleaning and repairing beautiful stone work and buildings.
  • This will consist of but not be limited to power and soft washing, reach and wash systems, stone sealing, painting, small stone repairs, repointing paving, stain removal and general small jobs and repairs.
  • Work as part of a team and deal with clients on site.
  • Look after tools and make sure all work is carried out to a high standard..
  • Organise sites and materials to ensure health and safety.
  • Answer all calls and communications in a timely manner.
  • Clean & Repair and Manage all aspects of our jobs that you have been tasked with.
  • Project and Adhoc requests will be required from time to time.
  • Update various systems with relevant project related information (daily)calculate and quantify required materials.
  • Collect and manage customer information daily.
  • Provide support for the onsite team, site management and operations manager
  • Provide high quality work and customer service
  • Provide input into the continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Be committed to reading and personal development within the role.

My team members (I never say employees) use their skills to complete a particular task and then accept responsibility for the overall quality and outcome of each and everything they do... ...

They also have to be able to accept the gratitude and rewards that come with it.

Yes, we need to use your cleaning, repair, maintenance, literacy, numerical, organisational, and communication skills daily.

But . . . we expect you to workout newer, more efficient ways to do your work and share that thinking with us, so we can all learn together.

That's for two reasons;

  • We work directly with business and homeowners and they need a great service all the time
  • The more you input into the business the better it is for all of us

We all want a better life/work balance and to be appreciated for what we do.

At Peninsula Stone Ltd we completely understand everyone's personal circumstances are different, so we always sit down with our new team members and discuss these 5 things;

  • a salary that makes life comfortable
  • a company vehicle
