SALARY: $1704.12- $1952.34 pw + Super

Work Type: Temporary Full Time – Up to 12 Months

Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570

The Digital, Technology and Innovation Branch are on the search for an Information Management Project Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Team Leader Enterprise Information Management you will have the opportunity to oversee the Records Management lifecycle by liaising with business units to identify and manage sensitive information, particularly records with personally identifiable or health information.

Essential:

  • Experience in Records and Information Management operations and services undertaking correspondence registration, digitisation, business classification schemes, sentencing, storage, disposal, and retrievals of files.
  • Knowledge of relevant Records & Information Management legislation including statutory requirements for Local Government archives and the State Records Act 1998 (NSW).
  • Demonstrated experience using retention and disposal authorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.
  • Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple tasks from implementation to completion, utilising advanced judgement and problem-solving skills through research, analysis, and evaluation of existing procedures.

Desirable:

  • Relevant industry certifications e.g., Records Management Certificate.
  • Experience in the provision of record-keeping staff education and awareness programs, specifically in relation to destruction of records.
  • Previous experience working in Local Government
