About the Role
The IT Officer position is a critical role within the IT department, responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service abilities.
Duties
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of requests and problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitor and enforce IT security measures to protect data and systems. Monitor and maintain access control, endpoint protection and backup solutions.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and software.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations and installations.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Base salary of $75,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
- 12% Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay).

Required
- Certificate 4 in relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in similar IT related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows server, Networking, and Azure.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware.
- Ability to empathize with users and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues.
- A commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
- National Police Check.
- Driver's Licence.
- Evidence of work rights.
- Travel between work sites on a regular basis.
- Microsoft 365 or Azure Certified.
