40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 7.30 am - 4 pm

About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Timely and accurate loading of patients onto a waitlist as required
- Ensure all cancellations are processed and communicated in a timely manner
- Remove patients from waitlists as directed
- Schedule patients for procedures using the established policy or standard operating procedures
- Establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Provide a customer focused telephone service with patients and face to face with stakeholders.
About the team
The Inpatient Booking Team work closely with clinical staff to schedule and book Elective Surgeries across General Surgery, Dental, Maxillofacial, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology .
About you
Inpatient Bookings are looking for customer service and data entry superstars who are adaptable and great at solving puzzles to schedule and book elective surgery patients to theatre. Liaise with patients and clinical staff to get the best outcomes for Elective Surgery Patients. Utilise your flexibility and problem solving skills in a dynamic, fast moving environment.
- Flexible and an eye for detail
- Customer service experience
- Microsoft Office/Data Entry
- Scheduling and administration experience
- Dealing with customers/clients via telephone.
