Where you'll be working



This position is primarily based at Mona Vale Hospital but also supervises staff at Manly’s Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice.

What you'll be doing
Lead, develop and evaluate inpatient physiotherapy therapy services within all inpatient units at Mona Vale Hospital - two rehabilitation wards, Geriatric and Evaluation Management and Palliative Care Units both adult and adolescent/ young adult services. This postilion manages and supports 9 FTE staff as well as providing expert clinical leadership and management of patients with complex needs across rehabilitation, aged and palliative care.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Demonstrated current clinical knowledge of Physiotherapy, a high level of contemporary intervention skills, and demonstrated senior expertise in delivery, direction and management of physiotherapy services. Must have experience as a level 2 Physiotherapist.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting service development, quality improvement activities and professional education.
  • Proven clinical leadership skills with an ability to contribute as a district expert in the field of Physiotherapy.
