About the Role
Beacon Technical Builders Inc. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Inside Plant Manager to lead our telecommunications infrastructure operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of inside plant activities—ensuring seamless network performance, managing technical teams, and upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of inside plant systems, including network equipment, cabling, and facility power systems.
- Lead and support a team of inside plant technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope.
- Maintain and enforce compliance with company procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Oversee and coordinate installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects for voice, data, and power systems.
- Respond to network alarms, resolve service-impacting issues, and oversee emergency repairs when needed.
- Ensure all documentation (cabling diagrams, inventory logs, maintenance reports) is up to date and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field crews to coordinate build-outs and system expansions.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in telecommunications or network operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Deep understanding of inside plant operations, structured cabling, and network hardware.
- Hands-on experience with telecom infrastructure equipment including routers, switches, UPS systems, and fiber/copper systems.
- Familiarity with telecom standards and regulations (e.g., TIA/EIA, NEBS, BICSI).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and documentation tools; experience with SiteDocs, Clicktime, or similar tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field sites when required.
Preferred Assets
- BICSI, Network+, CCNA, or similar certifications.
- Experience in new site deployments or telecom shelter setup.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
