Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and qualify new leads from pharma manufacturers, contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and R&D labs.

Conduct outbound calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.

Maintain lead database in CRM system.

2. Customer Engagement & Sales Conversion

Understand customer requirements (capacity, compliance standards like GMP, USFDA, WHO).

Provide product specifications, technical brochures, and commercial proposals.

Prepare techno-commercial quotations in coordination with the engineering team.

Follow up on proposals and negotiate pricing within approved margins.

3. Technical Support Coordination

Coordinate with design/production teams for customization requirements.

Arrange virtual demos, product presentations, and factory visits.

Support customers with documentation such as DQ, IQ, OQ protocols if required.

4. Order Processing & Documentation

Generate sales orders and ensure accuracy of terms.

Track dispatch schedules and coordinate with logistics.

Maintain complete documentation for audits and compliance.

5. Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with purchase managers, production heads, and plant managers.

Identify repeat sales and cross-selling opportunities.

6. Reporting & MIS

Maintain CRM updates (leads, pipeline, conversion ratio).

Submit weekly sales reports and forecast data.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment (tablet press, coating machines, filling lines, etc.).

Understanding of GMP, validation, and regulatory compliance standards.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

CRM proficiency (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).

Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Mechanical Engineering / Biotechnology / B.Sc.

MBA (Marketing) preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,042.40 - ₹39,625.36 per month
