Job Description

Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative (Parts Counter) position to join our team in Delhi, ON.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sell products and/or services to meet the customer's needs.
• Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she comes in contact with.
• Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
• Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
• Provide service technicians with parts as required.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.
• When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the Organization. Processes warranties, and new return merchandise as required at point of sale.
• Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
• Uses Organizations equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
• Perform other tasks as required by Management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to speak effectively one on one
• Ability to effectively listen
• Ability to interpret customer needs
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Good organizational skills
• Should be knowledgeable in merchandising

Working Conditions:

• Primarily indoor work - worker will be exposed to some outdoor conditions throughout the seasons
• Frequently working near moving machinery and forklifts

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs
• Frequently requires physical activity and periods of standing
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
