This role involves working directly with customers and contractors to ensure they are provided with everything they need.

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE - HARDSCAPE & MASONRY

Genest specializes in manufacturing and selling hardscape and masonry products throughout New England. Our friendly and knowledgeable retail inside sales associates are dedicated to ensuring that our customers and contractors are provided with everything that they need.

Competitive Wage: $22.00 - $25.00 range (DOE)

Schedule: Monday –Friday, Day shift, (Saturdays in the summer)

WHAT YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL LOOK LIKE:

• Offer customers and contractors estimates and quotes for masonry, hardscape, and landscaping products
• Execute full sales transaction cycle; processing with cash, checks, credit cards
• Field and assist customer and contractor inquiries
• Flex your stellar sales, communication, and listening skills
• Work as an integral part of the team

SKILLS & QUALIFICIATIONS:

• Knowledge of Landscaping and Hardscaping products
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff
• Must have good communication skills
• Experience operating a forklift
• Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
• Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis
• Ability to work effectively in a retail store & yard environment
• Strive for continuous improvement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Successfully pass a pre-employment physical exam
• Must be able to walk and stand 8+ hours a day and the ability to lift up to 75lbs by self
• Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull and reach above head
• Exhibit punctuality, dependability, and reliability
• Possess an optimistic attitude and drive to work hard
