Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused Inside Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, processing orders, and providing product support. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys working with people, and has experience in plumbing, HVAC, or wholesale distribution.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers and contractors at the sales counter
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product knowledge and recommendations
• Process orders accurately in-person, by phone, and by email
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and tracking product availability
• Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer issues professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming counter area
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Work closely with outside sales and other departments to meet customer needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plumbing, HVAC, or wholesale distribution preferred - willing to train the right individual
• Product knowledge in plumbing/HVAC a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (order entry, email, inventory systems)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
