The Inspector is responsible for examining materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures to verify product dimensions and quality.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
Communicate any non-conformance or quality issues to supervisors or appropriate departments.
Assist in identifying and tracking recurring quality issues.
Always ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
Formal education is not required.
Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required for consideration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to communicate quality issues to supervisor/lead.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and understand operational instructions, including the use of a tape measure and other job-related guidelines

Pay Range

Starting from USD $16.25/Hr.
