Installation Technician

SVC Care Communcations are specialist suppliers of Nurse Call and other systems to Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Care Centres across Ireland.

Due to continued growth we are seeking to hire an additional Installation Technician in the Leinster region. Salary is dependent on ability and experience.

Requirements:

• Experience in first and second fixing of systems such as Access Control, Nurse Call, Fire Alarm or Intruder Alarms would be an advantage and reflected in your salary
• Flexiblility is important. Most of the work will be based in Leinster but you will be required to work outside of this area at times.
• Full clean driving licence is essential
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other contractors
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling - training will be provided

Experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training on the systems will be provided.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The role will primarily be for first and second fixing of Nurse Call and other systems and will include running and terminating low voltage cabling on occasion.

You will be required to work in live healthcare settings, both as part of a team and also on your own at times.

Our clients are primarily Hospitals, Community Nursing Units, Nursing Homes and other Residential Care facilities.

The working week is:

Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 17:00

Friday 8.30 to 16.00

We operate an out-of-hours on-call service for customers and you will be part of the rotation once you have gained experience in the systems.

Benefits:

• Salary: €30,000.00 - €37,000.00 per year
• Salary is dependent on experience and is negotiable

• Additional time off in lieu of overtime
• Travel and accommodation expenses will be paid for by the company as and when required.
