A leading provider of a range of Industrial Instrumentation & Machinery including; Metal detectors, Weighing Scales and Temperature measuring instruments, we have an immediate vacancy for an Instrumentation Repair Technician, based in our County Kildare workshop.
The successful candidate's duties will include:
- Troubleshooting / fault finding
- Repairs
- Servicing / Calibrating
- Maintaining stock levels
Skills & Requirements:
This is a hands-on role requiring a solid understanding of electrical & electronic instrumentation, equipment & processes. Applicants must have:
- Experience of fault finding and a proven ability to diagnose /troubleshoot & repair to component level.
- Strong repair skills.
- Experience working with diagnostic tools and hand tools
- Relevant experience repairing, maintaining & troubleshooting process machinery, instrumentation & equipment is a distinct advantage.
- Experience / time served Apprenticeship in relevant field.
- A full, clean Driving Licence is essential
- Desire & ability to work effectively on own initiative under minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Salary: Negotiable / Skill based
