General Operative

Day position available. Full Time position.

As an Irish-owned company, Kish Fish Co. Ltd. has been in the fish business for over 50 years and is expanding rapidly. Therefore, we are seeking an intake general operative to join our factory team in Coolock, Dublin 17.

The successful candidate will have fast and nimble hands and demonstrate resilience in handling raw food products while working in a cold environment.

Job Description:

• To produce fish meeting Kish Fish quality standards
• Support the smooth operation of production processes
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times
• 5 working days per week - no change shift
• Working hours, day shift 5 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday

Required experience:

• Intake experience in production
• Experience in the fresh food industry is desirable.
• Experience working in the production environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Preferable forklift license
• Able to work under pressure in a cold environment.
• Punctual and reliable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.15 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Language:

• good English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

• Ireland (preferred)
