ISAC Ltd. is currently seeking an Integration & Reporting Engineer to join the IT team. Based out of Head Office in Belgard, This person will be a key individual contributor and report to the Business Systems Manager - IT.


ISAC Ltd is a Shared Services Company within the CRH Group which provides a centralised Finance and Administration Function for fellow CRH Group companies. This role will be primarily involved in providing support to CRH operating companies including Roadstone Limited, Irish Cement Limited & Northstone Limited.

About The Role

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Integration Support

  • Assist the design and Implementation of a new integration platform
  • Support the setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system integrations.
  • Work with API-based data flows, including reading/writing data via REST APIs.
  • Assist with scripts used for automation, data processing, or integration tasks.
  • Document data mapping, integration workflows, and process logic.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new integrations and system changes.


Data Management

  • Support data cleansing, validation, transformation, and model design activities.
  • Work with system owners to improve data structures, definitions, and governance.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise datasets for analytics and operations.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Cognos Analytics and Power BI.
  • Create automated reporting solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all reporting outputs.
  • Provide ad‑hoc reporting and support to business stakeholders.


Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise between business users, vendors, and technical teams to define requirements.
  • Provide training and support on reporting tools and data workflows.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives relating to data and systems.


The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role:


  • Ability to work with APIs (REST), including authentication, JSON data structures, and data extraction.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
  • Exposure to ETL/ELT tools or integration platforms.
  • Strong experience with report writing, model design and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Cognos Analytics and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation/automation (e.g., pandas, requests).
  • Experience of designing data models, relational databases, and data quality best practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for non‑technical users.
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems.
  • Experience in process improvement or workflow optimisation.
  • Experience in IT Compliance controls, such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
