Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Integrations Engineer to manage and deliver third-party integrations for payment applications in the POS terminal space. This role involves defining integration strategies, leading technical design and implementation, and ensuring compliance with payment industry standards. You will work closely with vendors, product teams, and QA to deliver secure, seamless integrations that enhance client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and maintain the integration roadmap for third-party solutions within the payment terminal ecosystem. Own end-to-end integration lifecycle for third-party solutions.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify integration opportunities that enhance functionality and client experience.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (EMV, PCI DSS) and regulatory requirements during integration planning.

Lead technical design, API/SDK integration, and certification processes.

Drive quality, security, and regulatory compliance for all integrations.

Identify opportunities to optimize integration processes and reduce time-to-market.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, payment trends, and terminal innovations.

Negotiate timelines, deliverables, and SLAs with external partners.

Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, certification, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field.

5- 8+ years of experience in payment systems, POS terminals, or payment application development.

Strong experience in designing and implementing API Gateway solutions.

Proficiency in creating OpenAPI specifications and documentation for use with tools like Swagger or similar frameworks.

Hands-on experience in developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

Familiarity with best practices for API security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Programming skills - Working knowledge of Java for backend API development and integratio n
