Accenture Global Solutions Team (AGS) is responsible for our global intellectual asset management processes, covering all of Accenture’s offerings and assets. The team also plays a central in supporting the overall Market Development & Initiatives (MD&I) allocation program.
We are looking for an Associate Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our Intellectual Property portfolio; overseeing the IP Management and MD&I processes such as investment reviews and reporting, liaising with IP Legal on asset protection matters, and the publication of information on offerings and assets (the Accenture Portfolio) to our Intellectual Property Management System (IPAMS). The Associate Manager will play a crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our IP management processes, directly contributing to Accenture's innovation and market leadership. The person will report to the IP & MD&I Ops Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the integrity of IP investments and portfolio through tools like my MD&I, AIM, and IPAMS.
- Conduct ongoing portfolio reviews to ensure effective life-cycle management of IP.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Industry Program Managers and other key stakeholders.
- Mediate and Communicate with key stakeholders involved in MDI funding process, IP Management, Finance Management Reporting
- Liaise with IP Legal on asset protection matters and reporting.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and drive continuous improvement projects in managing processes and technology.
- Gather requirements and prioritize improvements to technology supporting the investment process.
Your skills and qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills, and an ability to foster relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Strong team working and collaboration skills with experience in a large-matrix organization (5+ years preferred).
- Inquisitive and analytically minded.
- Positive attitude and flexibility.
- Comfortable with learning new technology and providing functional support.
Nice to have:
- Degree in Business or Finance is preferable; relevant experience can supersede degree requirements.
- Knowledge of Accenture’s Offerings & Assets, Legal protection of IP, or MD&I advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
- Understanding of databases, data management, or data analytics.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or data analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional).
