This role is tasked with leading the Treasury function for Revantage Asia Pacific, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class cash management solutions to internal and external stakeholders, all while driving alignment with Revantage’s overarching organizational vision and strategic goals.


How This Role Adds Value


As a critical leadership role within the organization, the deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction and effective management of the Treasury Operations and Accounts Payable/Receivable team, leveraging the Revantage APAC Centre of Excellence (COE) to meet organizational goals and deliver operational excellence.
  • Stakeholder and Banking Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Blackstone and its banking partners to ensure all Treasury requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Banking Counterparty Management: Lead the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of new banking counterparties, including managing Requests for Proposals and coordinating global banking services as required.
  • Treasury Policy Oversight: Regularly review and refine the Treasury policy to ensure it remains aligned with organizational objectives and supports the needs of the wider group.
  • Risk and Compliance Controls: Establish and maintain robust controls to ensure compliance with the Treasury policy, effectively managing risk and safeguarding the integrity of the Treasury function.
  • Treasury Leadership: Act as the Treasury Subject Matter Expert, representing Treasury priorities with senior stakeholders and external partners while driving system and process innovation across the organization.
  • Treasury Management System (TMS): Collaborate with technology teams to resolve TMS issues and lead the development and implementation of system enhancements to optimize Treasury operations.
  • Bank Administration: Oversee critical banking processes, including account openings, user access management, and administration for Revantage APAC and Blackstone portfolio companies.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for payment-related issues, driving timely and effective problem-solving to ensure seamless operations.
  • Key supplier relationship maintenance.
  • Internal Client Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver on commitments, resolve issues, and drive a culture of collaboration and service excellence.
  • Key Team Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Manage procure-to-pay processes, critical payments (e.g., deal funding, distributions, debt, interest, and tax), KYC/FACTA refreshes, supplier setups, expense claims, accounts payable close, and customer invoice processing. Ensure timely reporting and address ad-hoc queries.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate internal databases, including updates to bank accounts and authorized signatory changes.
  • Team Leadership: Optimize team structure, recruit and develop talent, and foster a culture of continuous learning to build a high-performing, customer-focused team aligned with organizational goals.


What You Bring To The Role

  • University degree in Accountancy/Finance or relevant discipline with 10-15 years in a Corporate Treasury/Cash Management function at a multinational corporation. Ideally the candidate should also possess exposure to or knowledge of middle/back-office operations and accounting/audit functions.
  • 7+ years people management experience while providing hands on support, and coaching.
  • An independent, resourceful, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high energy, positive, creative, solutions driven, client orientated, dynamic and responsive culture – influencing the team with a “Can-do” mind set.

  • Fluent in English. Any other language will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial software systems, with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Treasury Management Systems. A strong understanding of the integration and interface between Treasury systems and ERP platforms is essential. Experience with Wall Street Systems (WSS) and Workday a significant plus.
  • Proven experience in leading Treasury Management System implementations, enhancements, integrations, and related projects with a focus on successful outcomes.
  • Proven experience in managing electronic cross-border and domestic wire transfers, with a deep understanding of SWIFT message standards and payment networks. Strong troubleshooting skills in this area are essential.
  • Experience in maintaining / establishing Bank relationship, familiarity with opening bank accounts and preparing forms/letters related to bank account documentation (i.e. KYC, Letter of Direction).
  • Experience in Management Reporting.
  • Good understanding of financial instruments and products a plus.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to facilitate liaison within departments and creditors.
