Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both digital and traditional design, with a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into innovative designs that meet their needs. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a keen eye for detail. This role also includes working the design studio in a design/retail capacity. Saturday availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget.
• Develop detailed design concepts using digital design tools and software.
• Create visual presentations including mood boards, sketches, and 3D models.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) for graphic design tasks.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Implement motion graphics and animations for presentations as needed.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Stay updated on current trends in interior design, materials, and technology.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, Maya, and CAD software.
• Strong skills in graphic design, typography, and visual arts painting.
• Experience with HTML and CSS is a plus for web-based projects.
• Ability to create 2D and 3D animations for client presentations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas to clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 20 per week
