Position Overview

The Interior Designer & Sales Consultant will combine creativity, product knowledge, and sales expertise to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This role involves assisting clients with furniture selection, space planning, interior styling, and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail showroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting furniture, décor, and design solutions that fit their style and needs
• Provide interior design recommendations, space planning, and product styling advice
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets
• Maintain showroom appearance and ensure displays are visually appealing
• Stay up to date on current furniture and interior design trends
• Process sales transactions and coordinate customer orders
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture sales, interior design, retail sales, or customer service preferred
• Strong passion for interior design and home décor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Comfortable working weekends and flexible retail hours

• Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
