Your role and responsibilities

In the role of Internal Communications Manager, you will support the development and implementation of our internal communications strategy, plan and KPIs, in close collaboration with our businesses and functions. You will drive Group-wide employee engagement initiatives that support our company priorities, and act as strategic internal communications partner and advisor for our Corporate Officers and their leadership teams. The preferred location for this role is in a European time zone. Working model is hybrid #LI-hybrid. Responsibilities include: - Develop business-aligned internal communications strategy and plans - Lead Group-wide employee engagement initiatives that contribute to our business success while increasing employee knowledge and engagement as well as motivation and inspiration around topics such as sustainability, Artificial Intelligence or diversity & inclusion - Act as strategic communications partner to other Corporate functions, such as HR, Finance or Legal & Integrity - Support Group-wide leadership events communications - Drive continuous improvement of internal communications processes, tools and channels - Work seamlessly with counterparts across ABB’s corporate and business communications teams to drive employee engagement

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience from working in internal communications in an international company, preferably in a decentralized organization
• Strategic mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” across different projects and functions
• Proven track record in strategic planning and execution of Group-wide projects
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Creative and solutions-oriented, structured and good communicator
• Strong inner drive to engage, motivate and inspire employees on relevant topics
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive and constructive “can-do” mentality
