As an International Operations Coordinator, you will be part of a team that delivers exceptional customer service to all our clients, large or small.

Our team achieves this by diligently processing every quote request, formulating delivery options and providing the best optimal logistical solutions for our clients in the most cost-effective and reliable manner possible.

You will ensure that the shipment process is well identified, all documentation has been completed and verified. You will proactively identify possible issues with any details and ensure the best course of action is taken.

  • Experienced in handling import and export of ocean and air freight
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of import and export shipping process, including booking and tracking
  • Prepare import/export shipment documentation, including commercial invoices, manifest, OBOL, BOL, AWB, CERS and E-Manifests
  • Prepare import documents to ensure shipments are released in a timely manner by communicating with customs brokers
  • Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file
  • Tracking status with ocean and air carriers to keep clients/agents advised of status
  • Prepare quotations by negotiating carrier rates
  • Ensures all assigned C&D Logistics carriers, agents, and customers are given the highest level of communication and service.
  • Ensures any potential service issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all carrier and agent information is entered into Carrier Database.
  • Problem-solves client specific freight issues from the point of order placement through to completion.
  • Collaborates with and aids other team members to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Resolves any service failures and communicates them with International Supervisor.
  • Ensures all necessary information for each order is communicated effectively to all team members.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by International Operations Manager.

A high level of mental alertness and urgency is required for this position. Resourcefulness and tenacity are also valid indicators of effective performance. The ability to effectively negotiate and present issues in a clear concise manner is required. Must be able to work effectively with teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are required on a daily basis. Must be able to operate efficiently in a Windows environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
