As the International Recruitment Consultant, you will use your analytical and research skills to assess the effectiveness of marketing and recruitment activities, ensuring our approach is targeted and impactful. Working collaboratively with Regional Recruitment Managers, you will also create innovative conversion plans and provide regular training to internal and external stakeholders to enhance product knowledge.

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Global Student Recruitment, you will play a key role in attracting and engaging future international students, helping them take the next step in their journey to Curtin.

This is a full-time, continuing position with a salary range of $106,094 - $113,913 (G07). The successful candidate is expected to commence in January 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Plan, develop and manage Faculty offer-to-enrolment conversion strategies and activities.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Recruitment Managers to develop effective conversion plans, and regular product training.
  • Undertake research into student enrolment and faculty trends that impact international student recruitment.
  • Establish networks with all relevant Curtin staff and student representatives whilst organising the reception of international visitors to the Faculty relating to international recruitment.
  • Monitor the conversion of offer to enrolment and produce weekly reports.
We are looking for:
  • Completion of a relevant degree with demonstrated relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education/training.
  • Strong sales/student recruitment experience in an international context.
  • Effective oral, and written communication, networking and negotiation skills and the ability to apply these skills with an awareness of cross cultural issues and ethical practises, and to unfamiliar people and situations.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret and evaluate information to provide informed insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in a second language (desirable).
Role Requirements:
  • As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
  • Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
