ROLE DESCRIPTION
Are you looking for a 6-month internship in IT, starting in 1st of July.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the of the Data Services team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will actively contribute to the day-to-day functions of the Data Services team by focusing on data analysis, visualization, and automation, using tools such as Databricks, SAP BW, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Automate.
You will also play a crucial role in the evolution of digital transformation at SES, contributing to the automation of processes that are traditionally performed manually.
As a Data Services Analyst Intern, you will be responsible of:
- Dataflow Documentation: Creating detailed documentation for existing and new dataflows, ensuring that all steps, transformations, and data sources are clearly described.
- Collaboration: Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to gather information and understand the data processes.
- Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the dataflow processes and suggesting enhancements.
- Tool Utilization: Using various tools and software to document dataflows, such as data mapping tools, flowchart software, and documentation platforms.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the documentation, and regularly updating it as processes change.
- Training and Support: Assisting in the creation of training materials and providing support to team members in understanding the documented dataflows.
YOUR PROFILE
1.You must have
- Current student in Information Technology or in a relevant area.
- Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship).
2. Nice to have
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft Power BI
- Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
