You will support day-to-day PDM operations (task resolution, Incident ticket handling, user support) and help test and evaluate AI-assisted tools used in our PDM applications. This internship blends hands-on systems support with structured software testing and offers exposure to real-world engineering data and process automation.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Operations Support
    • Help to resolve user tickets related to workflows, permissions, and data issues in PDM applications(3 system applications)
    • Document fixes, create FAQs/how‑to guides, and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common tasks.
    • Monitor queues and service levels; escalate complex issues; help analyze root causes and propose preventive actions.
    • Support release activities (e.g., change notices, BOM updates, file/version control) under guidance from the PDM team.
  • AI Tools Testing for PDM Applications
    • Execute test plans and test cases for AI features (e.g., automated classification, metadata extraction, smart search, suggestion engines).
    • Prepare and curate representative datasets; run experiments and record outcomes using defined evaluation metrics (accuracy/precision/recall, latency).
    • Log defects with clear reproduction steps; track resolutions; re-test fixes; maintain change logs and test reports.
    • Assist with prompt design and evaluation for AI-enabled workflows; compare baseline vs. AI-assisted results.
    • Gather user feedback, summarize findings, and recommend improvements to models, prompts, or UX.
  • Collaboration and Reporting
    • Work closely with PDM Product Owner, Scrum Master and Developer team to ensure stable operations during testing.
    • Provide weekly updates on ticket volumes, closure rates, test progress, and key risks.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any relevant fields of study
  • Minimum CGPA 3.00 and above
  • Preference for candidate with knowledge in Artificial Intelligence
