What will you do?
The Engineering Compliance department is responsible, among other things, for introducing simplification processes to ensure compliance with and monitoring of training plans and related OJTs aimed at verifying company trends, through the implementation of best practices shared within the Engineering department and subsequently throughout the site.
In this context, it is necessary to include an internship figure in order to collaborate in the finalization and acquisition of user manuals and use of operating equipment at the GSK Rosia production site in accordance with the new Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 which will apply from 20 January 2027 replacing the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
The retrieval of manuals, their correct archiving and their management through the Company systems will allow easier management of the assessments necessary to ensure the correct state of training of maintenance personnel, thus ensuring complete alignment with what is indicated and reported in the EU GMP; Eudralex volume 4 annex 1. In this context, the transversal development of competence in understanding procedural "reviews" will be a subsequent step in the implementation of the internship figure.
What will you learn?
The internship will be carried out in the Engineering Compliance team at the GlaxoSmithKline company in Rosia for the duration of 6 months.
The internship offers training on the processes related to the management and monitoring of specific activities and in particular, will include the following macro activities:
- Identification and retrieval of User/USE Manuals on the basis of GSK documentation/Tools (Equipment List, Meridian Viewer and Company Registry) which will be provided as a basis for the development of an articulated database of the documentation collected;
- Management and support, where necessary, to the digital transformation of the paper manual
- Editing of SOP operating procedures in order to implement any comments and subsequent formatting of the same according to Company standards
Skills to be developed: Specifically, the trainee will acquire the main skills related to the following activities:
- Application of cGMP and the major guidelines of national and international regulatory bodies (AIFA, FDA, EMA);
- Knowledge of the characteristics and functions of teamwork;
- Business organization for a correct understanding of all company processes/roles;
- Communication techniques for a correct interrelationship with different interlocutors.
What are we looking for?
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent scientific diploma/degree
- Good knowledge of the office package with priority to Excel (i.e. pivot tables, mathematical formulas) and Word
- Propensity for teamwork
- Precision and attention to detail
