Description du poste


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance and Accounting Intern to assist with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and SAP implementation across multiple entities.

The role involves traveling to different business units live on SAP, reviewing financial processes, comparing operational efficiencies, and preparing comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations for improvement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • SOP Analysis: Review, analyze, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the finance and accounting functions, ensuring alignment with SAP processes.


  • SAP Support: Support the ongoing SAP implementation, assisting entities already live on SAP in optimizing their use of the system and addressing any operational challenges.


  • On-Site Visits: Travel to various business entities and locations to observe and assess current financial operations, data workflows, and process adherence.


  • Documentation & Reporting: Document observations, identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement, and prepare detailed comparison reports for each entity.


  • Data Validation: Cross-check financial data in SAP against legacy systems or alternative processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.


  • Process Improvement Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations based on comparisons between SOPs and actual operations at each location.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance teams of each entity and SAP specialists to ensure smooth process integration and adherence to best practices.


  • Learning & Development: Develop a thorough understanding of SAP financial modules, accounting practices, and process improvement techniques.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.


  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with SAP (or other ERP systems) is a plus.


  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and compare complex data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.


  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions for process improvements.


  • Adaptability: Willingness to travel to different locations and work in dynamic environments.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Duration of internship : 6 to 12 months
