Your Role

As Data Governance Intern you will be part of our Data Insight and Analytics Department in Rome, and you will support the team in improving data quality, metadata management and define clear data ownership and standards. You will contribute to making data trusted, accessible and ready for analytics and AI initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Support the definition and implementation of data governance standards, policies and procedures;
• Support in monitoring and improving data quality, identifying issues and supporting remediation activities;
• Contribute to metadata management, including the documentation of data definitions and business terms;
• Support the definition of clear data ownership, roles and responsibilities across different departments;
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to make data trusted, accessible and ready for analytics and AI initiatives.

Skills & Capabilities

• Data Warehouse knowledge
• Basic knowledge of Apache Spark and data processing concepts
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
• University degree in STEM or equivalent.
• Literacy in Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and in Italian.
• Strong analytical, planning and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team-player mindset and willingness to work with different functions

Rewards & Benefits

• We offer a Internship of 6 months length, full time.
• For this position, you will receive a monthly allowance of € 900.

The expected start date for this Internship is November 2026.
