Description
The Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) is inviting applications for an internship position under the lake restoration benchmarking study. This initiative aims to assess and document the current condition of lakes in and around Bengaluru to inform future restoration and management strategies.
As an intern, you will be part of a dynamic team working to evaluate lake water quality and understand the environmental challenges affecting these vital urban ecosystems.
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities
- Conduct field sampling of lake water and sediment.
- Perform laboratory analysis of water quality parameters.
- Support data compilation, visualization, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related fields.
- Familiarity with water sampling techniques and basic lab analysis.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Passion for field-based environmental research.
