Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Intensivist to join our medical team, focusing on providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role involves diagnosing and managing life-threatening conditions, performing invasive procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. The Intensivist will also contribute to staff education, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives while staying updated on advancements in critical care medicine. Strong communication skills, empathy, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Perform invasive procedures like intubation and central line placement.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support nursing staff.
- Participate in family meetings and provide compassionate end-of-life care.
- Educate medical trainees and engage in research and quality improvement.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- MBBS or MBBS with MD (any specialty).
- Minimum 3-5 years of ICU experience.
- Proficiency in invasive procedures and critical care technologies.
- Understanding of pharmacology, physiology, and EMR systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Empathy, ethical practice, and commitment to continuous learning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
