Job Title: Inventory Clerk / Forklift Operator
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Pay Rate: $19.00 CAD per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent based on performance)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk / Forklift Operator to support warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires a balance of inventory accuracy, material handling, and forklift operation to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or other equipment) safely and efficiently
• Perform order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing
• Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damages
• Maintain organized storage areas in line with operational standards
• Support continuous improvement and workplace efficiency initiatives
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company policies

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics role
• Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance / Reach preferred)
• Hands-on experience with RF scanners
• Experience in order picking, shipping, and receiving
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills (inventory accuracy, counts, etc.)
• Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma principles
• Understanding of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes
• Experience in high-volume distribution or warehouse environments
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
