Location: Brant, ON – In Person
Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and extremely detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Inventory Associate.

The primary focus of this position is receiving, identifying, organizing and cataloguing a large and constantly changing inventory of industrial equipment, automation components, electrical parts, machinery and MRO products.

The successful candidate must have a strong eye for detail and be comfortable working with part numbers, model numbers, quantities and product information. Many of the items we handle can look very similar while having different specifications or part numbers, making accuracy extremely important.

This is a hands-on warehouse position that also involves computer work, inventory management, shipping and receiving, packaging customer orders and general warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, stay organized, take initiative and maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks throughout the day.

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with opportunity for wage increases based on performance, reliability and demonstrated ability.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, unpack and sort incoming inventory
  • Identify industrial parts, equipment and components
  • Record part numbers, model numbers and other relevant product information
  • Catalogue inventory accurately
  • Label and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and locations
  • Assist with inventory counts and inventory control
  • Photograph and prepare inventory for cataloguing when required
  • Check inventory for condition and obvious damage
  • Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse
  • Pick customer orders from inventory
  • Package customer orders safely and appropriately for shipment
  • Verify orders for accuracy before shipment
  • Create and print FedEx shipping labels
  • Prepare basic shipping paperwork and documentation
  • Receive incoming courier and freight shipments
  • Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as required

Previous warehouse, inventory, industrial, shipping/receiving or e-commerce experience is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of warehouse or inventory experience
  • Inventory control experience
  • Experience identifying or cataloguing parts and equipment
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Experience packaging customer orders
  • Experience using FedEx or similar courier shipping systems
  • Forklift experience or valid forklift certification
  • Familiarity with industrial parts, electrical components, automation equipment, machinery or MRO products is an asset
