Inventory Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with our inventory processes, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory control. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge organization and contribute to our growth and success.

Responsibilities:

- Working at the warehouse and at on-site retailer locations. - Forklift operations (Not required, can get certified once hired.) - Manage inventory levels and track stock movement using databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize inventory management.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, working closely with the order fulfillment team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement inventory management best practices to minimize waste and reduce inventory costs.
- Work closely with the demand planning team to ensure that inventory levels align with business needs.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that all inventory is properly tracked and accounted for.
- Perform some heavy lifting and other physical tasks as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably with experience in a fast-paced retail or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform other physical tasks as necessary.
- Experience with implementing changes to optimize inventory management.
- Familiarity with demand planning principles and best practices. - Ability to communicate effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift

Work Location: In person
