Do you want to play a key role in Telenor's investment strategy for the expansion of fiber and mobile networks?

Telenor invests over NOK 5 billion annually in mobile and fiber networks, laying the foundation for next-generation’s infrastructure. The deployment of 5G and fiber is progressing rapidly across the country, ensuring future proof connectivity.

We are now looking for an Investment Manager to join the Investment team, which plays a key role in ensuring that our investments are profitable, value creating and support market growth. The team is central in developing strategies and analyses to ensure profitability in fiber and mobile network investments.

As our new Investment Manager, you will drive initiatives and identify and analyze opportunities that support Telenor’s growth ambitions. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategy for Telenor’s most important investment areas and work closely with executive management in a high-exposure role with a broad network across the organization.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who also has the ability to communicate complex analyses and issues effectively. You enjoy building relationships and collaborating across different divisions. Experience in business analysis and strategic assessments is an advantage.

As an Investment Manager, you will:

Contribute to developing a holistic investment strategy in close collaboration with stakeholders in Technology, Consumer, and Business.

Analyze, identify, and initiate initiatives that support Telenor’s growth ambitions.

Drive decision-making processes and further develop Telenor’s investment strategy to ensure optimal allocation of investment funds.

Prepare and present analyses and decision-supporting materials for Telenor Norway’s top management.

Develop criteria, frameworks, and tools for investment decisions.

We are looking for candidates who have some of the following:

A master’s degree with a specialization in business administration, economics, finance or technical fields, such as engineering.

Preferably 2-5 years of experience as a financial analyst, management consultant, or in a similar role. However, candidates with more than 5 years of experience are also encouraged to apply, as the role can be shaped accordingly.

Experience in financial modeling and investment analysis.

A background in stakeholder management and collaboration across teams.

Strong Norwegian and English communication skills.
