Is Technical Service Lead

The role:

Reporting to the IS Architecture and Operations Manager, we are on the lookout for an IS Technical Services Lead to join our Information Services (IS) team. This role is important to assist with implementing and maintaining good IS practices as well as providing support services across the organisation. This is a hands-on role, which will also be leading and supporting a team of three, including one remote member.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Technical leadership for end user technologies, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure operations.
• Team leadership and management of a small team of analysts.
• Manage the delivery of efficient IS support, operational excellence and modernised end user services.
• Provide level 1, 2 and 3 support across all systems to become a technical pivot for the team and a trusted advisor to the business.
• Manage problems, continuous improvement initiatives and deliver projects in conjunction with IS team and the Vitaco business.
• This role requires infrequent work after hours and/or weekends for planned technical deployments and maintenance plus occasional support for faults and incidents.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a technical lead or team leader working with IS Systems and level 1/2 and 3 support in a SME/corporate environment.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining reliable and compliant IT operations and support.
• Solid experience with cloud services/platforms especially Intune, SOE development and evolution, operations process automation, hardware catalogues and deployment strategies.
• Expertise supporting users in the Microsoft computing (on-prem and cloud) environment e.g. M365, Windows 10/11,
• The ability to procure, manage and optimise both hardware and software assets to meet the requirements of a multi profile manufacturing and FMCG user base.
