Position: ISM Ops Executive

Location: Kolkata
Salary: Up to ₹10 LPA

Job Purpose

The ISM Ops Executive will play a key role in inventory management, vendor coordination, and supply chain operations. The role focuses on driving operational excellence through data-driven decisions, process improvements, automation, and strong vendor relationships to ensure optimal inventory health and product availability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations and inventory workflows
• Identify cost reduction and waste removal opportunities
• Monitor inventory health and ensure optimal stock levels
• Work closely with vendors to improve fill rates, reduce lead times, and resolve operational issues
• Support vendors on appointment, unloading, and inbound-related challenges
• Conduct weekly and monthly inventory reviews
• Drive system and process improvements with internal and technical teams
• Ensure complete adoption of tools and systems for inventory management
• Perform stock reconciliation at ASIN level (imports, inbound, transhipment)
• Reconcile vendor invoices with actual inbound quantities
• Coordinate with concerned teams for insurance claim lodging
• Update HSN codes and tax masters for each ASIN
• Ensure PO processing and flip as per applicable tax laws
• Analyze financial and inventory metrics to improve efficiency
• Evaluate deal and opportunity buys critically

Job Specifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, inventory management, or supply chain
• Experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and vendor management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Self-starter with high ownership and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous setup

Education

• Graduation required
• MBA preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
