About the role:
MPK is seeking an experienced IS&T Support Officer to join our IS&T team, based in Brisbane Support Office. Reporting to the Service Support Manager, the IS&T Support Officer will be a frontline member of the IS&T Team, performing procurement and logistics functions as well as assisting with desktop, infrastructure and systems support. The base salary banding for this role is between $75,000 - $80,000.

Experience performing procurement and logistics tasks will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-User Desktop Support
• Troubleshoot desktop computing issues, with the ability to follow known workarounds and resolutions
• Provide equipment and training to new starters
• Troubleshoot test and document resolutions for incidents and problems that do not have a known solution
• Microsoft Active Directory (AD) administration, inclusive of account and security group management
• Communicate effectively with a variety of end-users, each providing an array of technology and computer skills
• Accountable for job queues, with the ability to proactively discover root causes, resolve, document and close where possible
• Procurement & Logistics
• IS&T asset stock management, commissioning, decommissioning and documentation
• Perform asset, service and application procurement and logistics tasks as required
• Maintain accuracy of asset data in asset management and finance systems

Skills and Experiences:
About you:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar relevant area of study desirable
• Experience providing support in an Information Technology environment
• Experience using IT Support Management and asset management tools desirable
• Experience managing assets through their lifecycle in finance systems desirable
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, 11 and Microsoft office applications
• Sound knowledge of supporting and maintaining various computer and mobile device technologies
• Understanding of network and telecommunications technologies
• Understanding of asset management and related tools
• Communicate openly and professionally with groups and individuals
• Work effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Enjoy accountability within a challenging and complex environment
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards and enthusiasm
