Career Description
Tecnova is looking for a proactive IT & Network Specialist who can troubleshoot IT issues and coordinate a range of IT initiatives to enhance company efficiency. This role also involves hands-on support in developing both software and hardware solutions.
Candidates must have the ability to:
· Provide support for servers, desktop computers, computers embedded in production equipment, printers, barcode scanners, network switches, phones, network-attached storage (NAS) devices and related accessories
· Provide problem diagnosis and resolution via telephone, in-person, email, and remote support to all team members
· Monitor & maintain digital facility security, including main firewall, remote access firewalls and software VPN. Complete regular reviews of related security logs and coordinate security reviews with outside vendors as deemed appropriate.
· Monitor & maintain physical facility security system, including surveillance camera and security badge access system
· Daily monitoring of IS Alerts, including SQL Backups, printer alerts, and automated server backup jobs
· New hire onboarding including hardware procurement, software deployment and asset management
· Departing team members account management, data archive and asset management
· Maintain proper inventory of corporate assets, including off-site equipment
· Work with vendors (hardware, software, manufacturer) to troubleshoot, escalate and resolve issues as needed
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Associate degree with 2+ years’ related experience. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
· Requires proficient computer hardware troubleshooting and network management skills
· Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
· Experience with ERP systems is preferred
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
· Ability to interact directly with team members and work independently
· Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
· Flexible and adaptive to change
· Ability to lift and carry computers and monitors
Additional Requirements:

· On Site 1st shift position – Full-time – 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
