Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated IT Help Desk Technician to join our team and provide first-level technical support to employees and office users. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in information technology, troubleshooting, and customer service. The successful candidate will assist with hardware, software, and basic network-related issues while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot basic computer, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Assist with workstation setup, equipment installation, and user onboarding
  • Create, update, and document support tickets accurately
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel when appropriate
  • Perform routine system checks and basic maintenance tasks
  • Support password resets, account access requests, and user permissions
  • Maintain inventory records for computers, peripherals, and IT equipment
  • Provide professional customer service while resolving user concerns
  • Follow company security policies and IT procedures

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework, certification training, or education related to Information Technology
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not required

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
