General Description:
This position will work with the GTS team to provide On-Site end-user Day-to-Day L1/L2 support of the South Korea Site and work as a joint team to provide remote service to the APAC region.
The candidate will be instrumental in the GTS team's implementation of the IT vision and enhancement of the Company’s current systems, processes, and infrastructure to support future growth and expansion plans.
The ideal candidate should bring experience working in IT operations and end-user services.
Essential Functions of the job:
· As on-site IT support, identifies and troubleshoots user IT problems and IT concerns associated with desktops, laptops, and workstations.
· Accurately recording requests/incidents/problems and their associated resolutions into the IT ticket system. Call back and update tickets with working notes and resolutions.
· Ensure that any ticket related to IT Standards is escalated to the Application owner group.
· Manage and maintain IT facilities such as Video Conferences, IP Phones, Printers, and Projectors. Provide support for any VC meetings and guide users through their use.
· Work with other staff to ensure all Internal/external audits are supported at their site.
· Set up PCs for new en-rollers with standard hardware and software. Collect PCs when users leave. Record device management clearly in AD and IT systems.
· Ensure site server rooms are managed and maintained in accordance with company policies and standards.
· Provides users with training and communications on IT policies, procedures, and new projects.
· Assists with remote problem resolution for off-site users as required.
· Ensures a high level of client satisfaction and service level agreements are achieved to the best of their ability.
Assists with the management of projects on-site as required.
Computer Skills:
· Experience with Office 365.
· Experience with enterprise application implementations and/or migrations to the cloud
· Experience with Video Conference equipment configuration and usage.
· Proficiency in Windows 10/11
Other Qualifications:
· 3 years+ IT support experience. Good experience in daily IT operation and projects.
· Experience with PC hardware, operating systems and Office productivity application software.
· An in-depth knowledge of PC Windows environment, standard Microsoft applications (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer), and Adobe Acrobat.
· Know well about IT processes and IT security Standards and obey them in daily support.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide root cause analysis related to hardware, deployments, and application behaviors.
· Good oral and communication skills in Korean and English.
