It Procurement Manager

Job Description:

Would you like to work with IT procurement in a global business with locations all over the world? Do you see yourself managing the end-to-end procurement process and being in close collaboration with our suppliers and vendors on a global level?

What the job is …

You will be responsible for the entire IT procurement lifecycle, from initial request to final delivery. This is a position that requires a structured way of working, being able to negotiate, and continuously follow up on statuses.

You will manage the end-to-end procurement process, which includes sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and some contract administration for all IT-related goods and services. A key part of your responsibilities will be to ensure that we are not only getting the best possible prices but also the best possible service and support from our partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in IT Procurement : You should have a proven track record of managing the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.

• Negotiation Skills : You should have good negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms, prices, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Vendor and Supplier Management : We need someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluate their performance, and find new, reliable partners. And establish them as Satair vendors in our various systems.

• Attention to Detail : You are highly organized and structured, with a strong ability to track quotes, purchase orders, and deliveries accurately.

• Financial Acumen : You should be comfortable with cost analysis, and validating invoices to ensure accuracy.

• Problem-Solving : We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who can handle challenges with orders, deliveries, or vendor issues calmly and effectively.

• Technical Knowledge : You should have an understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, and cloud services.

• Communication Skills : You must be a clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Fluent in English both written and verbally.
  

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT procurement or a similar role.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred..

• Strong understanding of the IT market, including current trends in hardware, software, and cloud services.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
