It-Programmer For The Flix Programming Language At Dept. Of Computer Science, Aarhus University

We are looking for a programmer to work 8,5 hours/week on the Flix programming language from January 1st, 2025 or soon thereafter.
Specifically, we are interested in software developers with experience with:
Experience with programming languages, type systems, effect systems, compiler development, DevX is a plus.
Place of work:
Dept. of Computer Science, Aarhus University - Åbogade 34, 8200 Aarhus N.
- its compiler,
- its standard library,
- its toolchain, and
- its IDE tooling
Specifically, we are interested in software developers with experience with:
- JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Scala, the JVM platform
- the Language Server Protocol (LSP), and
- developing Visual Studio code extensions.
Experience with programming languages, type systems, effect systems, compiler development, DevX is a plus.

Formalities and salary range
Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Confederation of Professional Unions.
