The position
As an IT Student Assistant in our BI & Data Team, you will play an important role in developing data‑driven solutions, visualizations, and analyses that support the business. You will collaborate closely with skilled data professionals and gain insight into both the technical and analytical aspects of working with data. You will be involved in ongoing improvement initiatives, development of new data assets, and optimization of our data foundation and reporting landscape.
Key tasks
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analyses in Power BI
- Support the development and maintenance of data models
- Contribute to data validation, data quality efforts, and documentation
- Perform ad‑hoc analyses and provide data support to business stakeholders
- Automate smaller data processes (e.g., using Power Automate or Python)
- Assist with cleanup and structuring of master data
- Support the migration to the new Data Warehouse and help set up Microsoft Fabric
The position is part-time (approx. 10-15 hours per week). We offer flexible working hours and naturally accommodate exam periods.
Qualifications
We imagine that the ideal candidate is passionate about data and motivated by learning new tools and technologies in a professional BI environment. You take initiative, are curious, and enjoy solving problems through analysis and structure.
We’re looking for someone who
- Is enrolled in a relevant higher education program – e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a similar field
- Has an interest in data, analytics, and visualization
- Possesses strong Excel skills and ideally experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools
- Works in a structured way and has a strong analytical mindset
- Communicates clearly and collaborates well across teams
- Is eager to learn – we do not expect you to master everything from day one
