IT Support Engineer - Dublin City - Onsite 5 days per week

€50-55K depending on experience

SK9 are delighted to be working alongside a busy tech firm based in central Dublin who require an experienced IT / Network Support Engineer. This role suits someone with strong hands-on experience across desktop, hardware, and infrastructure support, who enjoys solving problems and keeping systems running smoothly across a live environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support across desktops, software, hardware, printers, and communication rooms
• Perform regular system and server health checks, monitoring performance and resolving alerts promptly
• Manage and maintain server racks, cabling, and comms room equipment
• Support and maintain all servers, networks, and IT infrastructure
• Administer and support SQL Server, Windows Server, and Exchange environments
• Manage Office 365 users, permissions, and applications
• Assist with hardware replacements, upgrades, and preventive maintenance

Key Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT Support or a similar hands-on technical role
• Strong knowledge of desktop and server support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Experience maintaining comms rooms, replacing racks, and managing server environments
• Confident working with network fundamentals, UPS, RAID, and performance monitoring
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (or similar) are highly beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
