IT Support & Microsoft 365 Administrator
Position Summary
CleartrackHR is seeking a people-focused IT Support & Microsoft 365 Administrator to provide first-line technical support and help manage our internal technology environment. This role will support local and remote team members across Windows and macOS, administer Microsoft 365 and related identity and device-management tools, and help keep our systems, accounts, and devices secure and running smoothly.
This position is intended for someone in the Huntsville area who can provide onsite support at our Huntsville office when needed. It offers the opportunity to grow with CleartrackHR as we continue developing technology solutions for the human resources industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT questions and technical issues for local and remote employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, account, connectivity, and access issues across Windows and macOS devices.
- Administer Microsoft 365, including user accounts, licensing, permissions, groups, and core services.
- Support identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID.
- Provision and de-provision employee accounts, computers, mobile devices, and software access.
- Assist with administration and troubleshooting of the corporate network.
- Monitor internal systems and software, respond to alerts, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Maintain clear documentation for configurations, procedures, inventory, and recurring support issues.
- Assist with software quality-assurance testing and basic web-application support as needed.
- Work effectively with employees, vendors, and developers to resolve issues and improve internal processes.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on IT support experience in a small-to-medium-sized business environment.
- Experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Proficiency supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Understanding of business networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot common network issues.
- Ability to diagnose hardware, software, account, and device-management problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage competing priorities, and work independently.
- Ability to provide onsite support in the Huntsville office when needed.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT support.
- Relevant Microsoft or IT support certifications a plus.
Position Details
- Job type: Full-time
- Location: Huntsville, Alabama area; onsite support required as needed
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, eight-hour day shift; no regularly scheduled weekends
- Compensation: $39,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
