Job Description


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting in the maintenance of IT systems. A strong understanding of Microsoft 365 is considered an asset and will be beneficial in supporting our organization's technology needs.

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new equipment and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Support users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including network and server systems.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on IT systems and best practices.
  • Perform regular updates and patches to ensure system security and efficiency.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications
  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
