Winmar provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and

institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle

impacts, etc. and we’re looking for a skilled individual to join our team

The ideal candidate will be a jack of all trades, capable of handling a variety of construction tasks with precision and care. Willing to assist with tear outs and general tasks when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform various construction tasks as needed in order to complete projects in a timely and professional manner

2. Operate a variety of tools and equipment

3. Respond to emergencies on an on call basis when necessary

4. Perform the work required as deemed necessary by the job supervisor.

5. Work in compliance with Staff Policies and Health and Safety Policies.

Grade 11

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc)

WHMIS, First Aid

Experience

3 yr - 5 yr

Security and Safety

Bondable, Criminal Record Check, Clean Driving Record

Languages

Speak English, Read English, Write English

Transportation/Travel Information

Must Hold Valid Driver’s Licence

Own Tools/Equipment

Steel-Toed Safety Boots

Specific Skills

Load, unload and transport construction materials. A wide range of construction knowledge and

experience. Excellent problem solving and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with a

team

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job this individual must have a full range of body movement including walking, standing, sitting, lifting floor to waist, lifting waist to shoulder, stair climbing, ladder climbing and bending or twisting. There may be times when this individual will be operating motorized equipment and power tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
