Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and diligent Janitor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas, helping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out litter picking across the entire retail park
• Empty waste bins and replace liners as needed
• Sweep and tidy walkways and outdoor areas
• Clean windows, glass panels, and mirrors
• Maintain the cleanliness of entrances and exterior walkways
• Report any maintenance issues or potential safety hazards promptly
• Adhere to all company policies and health & safety procedures
• Lock and unlock premises as required
• Record gas and electricity meter readings
• Perform occasional extra tasks or minor maintenance duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good attention to detail
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move cleaning equipment
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Reliable and punctual
• Legal right to work in Ireland

Job Schedule

• Sunday- Friday 6:00 am -10:00 am

• Ashbourne, CO. Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
