Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to join our team in Austinburg, working Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and possess a strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively according to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality standards
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial cleaning environments
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is advantageous
• Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures is desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
