Janitorial And Maintenance Technician-Collision

We are seeking a General Maintenance Person to join our Collision team! The General Maintenance Person will be responsible for the general overall housekeeping within our Collision Dept; cleans and maintains all areas of the service department and parking lot while demonstrating professional personal behavior, creating a safe environment for all employees and customers. Position is located in Easton, PA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Maintain all areas of the collision campus

· Take trash out periodically throughout the day, empty outside trash drums

· Maintain tire and scrap metal areas and report to appropriate manager if in disarray

· Change light bulbs and perform other light maintenance work as required

· Assist in snow removal efforts in the winter and lawn maintenance in the summer

· Clean shop floors and shop benches on a continuous basis and pressure clean floors

· Inspect parking lot areas and service floors to keep them free of trash and debris.

· Maintain and clean all shop equipment

· Assist with dealership plumbing needs when necessary

· Paint areas of shop and parking lot as directed

· Repair roadways in parking lot and patch potholes as necessary

· Preform all tasks relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and the surrounding property

MARGINAL DUTIES:

· Understand and comply with OSHA right-to-know and other federal, state, and local regulations

· Must follow company safety policies and practices; report all accidents to a supervisor immediately

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, this position requires you to be indoors and outdoors frequently throughout the day

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record according to dealership standards

· Honesty and integrity

· Manual dexterity, good judgment, and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and external vendors and customers
